Gaddafi confers with African ministers

Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi met on Sunday in Libya with the foreign ministers of Zimbabwe, Malawi and Senegal and the minister of construction in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A Libyan official source said that talks dealt with the situation in the Great Lakes region, especially in the republic of Congo.
The source added that the foreign minister of Zimbabwe delivered Gaddafi a message from Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabi concerning the efforts aimed at establishing peace in the Great Lakes area in Africa. Gaddafi was also given a message from Malawi's president on the situation in the African continent.
