Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Israel discuss agricultural strategy
Regional, Agriculture, 8/2/1999

The representatives of the agricultural ministries of Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Palestine have agreed to form a four-way forum that will discuss the upgrading of a mutual strategy to develop the agricultural exports of the four countries.

This agreement came after the meetings held in Taba, Egypt, in the attendance of representatives from the ministries of agriculture and representatives of the private sector.

The forum called on the agricultural ministries of concerned countries to convene another conference for private sector companies to suggest means of boosting agricultural cooperation and in establishing joint projects.

This conference was held under the cooperation of Conrad Adinaur and the Israeli Palestinian Center for Information and Researches of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture.
