Al-Sharaa confers with Bishara, Japanese official

Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa on Sunday in Damascus met with Arab Israeli intellectual Azmi Bishara. Talks dealt with developments in the Palestinian arena and the future of the Middle East peace process.
Al-Sharaa also met with the deputy director general of the Middle East and North Africa department at the Japanese Foreign Ministry. Talks dealt with the Middle East peace process, bilateral relations between Syria and Japan and means of boosting cooperation.
