After a denial, government announces death of Moulay Ouazzani, husband of Princess Amina

Moulay Driss Ouazzani, husband of Princess Lalla Amina, aunt of King Mohammed VI, died in hospital in France at the age of 57, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced on Friday.
The funeral of Moulay Driss Ouazzani -- who was born on November 10, 1942 -- will be announced later on, the same source said.
After completing his high studies in law in Paris, Moulay Driss Ouazzani held several posts at the royal palace. He was also head of the Moroccan Royal Equestrian Federation.
Yesterday, the government denied reports on his death as rumors.
