One million at risk in Somalia

One million persons in Somalia are at risk due to internal fighting, disease, and the prospect of a poor harvest, Manoel de Almeida e Silva, deputy spokesman for the United Nations secretary general said yesterday. He added that Somalia's security situation hinders the delivery of humanitarian assistance, especially in Kismayo and Mogadishu.
