Saudi Arabia hosts Arab anti-terrorism conference
Regional-Saudi Arabia, Politics, 7/31/1999
Saudi official sources confirmed that Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz is to chair tomorrow an Arab conference to combat terrorism in the attendance of Arab foreign and justice ministers.
The three-day conference, in which 10 Arab states will take part, will be held in Jeddah.
The sources said the conference will discuss means of applying the Arab anti-terrorism treaty, upon which the Arab states agreed.
The endorsing countries call for exchanging information about terrorists, not giving shelter to terrorists, and not financing, committing or taking part in terrorist activities.
