Arafat to visit Cairo tomorrow

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat is to arrive in Cairo tomorrow for an official visit, during which he is to meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who is going to brief Arafat on the outcomes of his meeting today with Israeli Prime Minsiter Ehud Barak. The two leaders will also exchange views on Israeli suggestions.
Meanwhile, Arafat is to chair the meeting of the central committee of the Palestinian Fatah movement, which is to be held outside the self-rule area for the second time on July 31. It was first held in Tunis six months ago.
The permanent Palestinian deputy at the Arab League, Mohammed Sobeih, told ArabicNews.com that the committee will discuss the peace process, final status negotiations and Arab - Palestinian relations.
