US bombs sites north of Mosul
Iraq-USA, Military, 7/28/1999
US jets today bombed "an AAA emplacement and a communication site" in Iraq, both located north of Mosul, the US European Command said from Incirlik (Turkey). It added that the attack came in response to Iraqi anti-aircraft fire which targeted the jets.
