French FM to visit Algeria tomorrow

French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine will hold a working visit to Algeria on July 29.
The Algerian News Agency said that Vedrine is carrying a message from French President Jacques Chirac to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. No information was given on the content of the message.
For her part, the spokeswoman for the French Foreign Ministry, Ann Gizzau-Secret said that Vedrine will discuss with Algerian Foreign Minister Muhammad Attaf bilateral relations and regional conditions.
She explained that the recent visit held by the French Foreign Minister to Algeria was by the beginning of 1997.
