No-fly zone clashes continue

Six formations of US and British jets flew 25 sorties from Saudi airspace over al-Ma'aniya, as-Salman and Sbeicha in Iraq while 16 sorties were flown from Turkish airspace, the Iraqi News Agency reported.
Meanwhile, US jets today bombed Iraqi "command and control sites south of Mosul," the US European Command said. The planes, flying as part of Operation Northern Watch to enforce the no-fly zone over northern Iraq, were responding to Iraqi anti-aircraft fire, the statement said, adding that the planes left the area safely.
