Morocco's diplomatic options will not change under new king, foreign minister says
Morocco, Politics, 7/27/1999

Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Mohamed Benaissa said Morocco's diplomatic options will not change after the demise of late King Hassan II. In a statement to the London-based arab daily "Asharq Al-Awsat," Benaissa insisted, "Nothing has changed and nothing will change in this field."

He explained that King Mohammed ben Al Hassan has repeated to all the heads of state who came to condole him that Morocco will honor its international, regional and bilateral commitments and will continue to play the same active role as during the reign of the late King Hassan II.
