No-fly zone clashes renewed

US aircraft flying as part of Operation Northern Watch, which patrol the no-fly zone over northern Iraq bombed an Iraqi communications site today, a statement from the US European Command said. The statement said that the the US planes fired on the Iraqi site, "used to relay information from radars that in-turn target coalition aircraft," after they were fired on by Iraqi anti-aircraft artillery the statement said, adding that the planes left the area safely.
