African international industrial conference in Algeria

An international African investment and industrial conference is due to be held in October in Algeria, with the participation of African countries, representatives of major industrial cities and the European Union.

Algeria diplomatic sources said today that they agreed to organize this conference on the margins of the OAU's recent summit in Algeria.

The OAU (Organization of African Unity), the UN Industrial Development Organization and the African Development Bank supported the idea of this conference.

The conference will be dealing with European/African partnership and upgrading the small, middle projects and private sector.
