Egypt considers consortium's offer for Abu Tartour

The Egyptian Ministerial Committee in charge of Abu Tartour's phosphate chemical complex, headed by Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri met yesterday to consider an offer from a consortium of American, Greek and Egyptian companies. The consortium would manage Abu Tartor's mines, produce phosphoric acid, ammonia phosphate and ammonia and run Safaga Port through which Abu Tartor products will be exported, according to Minister of Cabinet Affairs Talat Hammad.
