Syrian official source denies pressures on Palestinian groups

In response to reports by certain media that the Syrian authorities gave instructions to prevent the Palestinian organizations and groups residing in Damascus from carrying out armed struggle, a Syrian official source announced the following: " Syria does not interfere in the work of the Palestinian groups and organizations, nor in what these organization decide concerning their role, in the course of the legitimate national ambitions of the Palestinian people."
