Algerian, Yemeni presidents: Exclusion and marginalization will not serve the Arab states

President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria on Tuesday called for an Arab summit with the participation of all Arab states.
Exclusion and marginalization "will not help the Arab nation come out of the preset juncture," Bouteflika told the press after meeting Yemeni President, Ali Abdellah Saleh, who is on a two-day visit to Algeria.
Several Arab states, including Morocco, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, have been calling for an summit to achieve inter-Arab reconciliation.
President Bouteflika said Algiers and Sanaa are endeavoring to achieve Arab reconciliation without exclusion nor marginalization. He acknowledged that such an endeavor is no easy task.
President Ali Abdellah Saleh said he came to Algeria part of drives to "cement Arab ranks." He called for more efforts to consolidate cooperation and favor the trading of views to enable the Arab nation take up the challenges it is facing.
President Saleh is visiting Algeria part of a Maghreban tour that already took him to Libya, where he met with Colonel Moammar Kaddafi. After Algeria, the Yemeni head of state will visit Morocco.
