Inaugurating Garash Jordanian festival of arts

The activities of the 18th Garash festival for the arts and culture is to start today, which is considered one of the most popular Arab summer festivals.
The festivals' administration selected Egypt to be its guest of honor for this year. 100 Egyptian actors are to take part in various activities of the festival, in which 25 countries from all over the world are to participate.
The festival's manager, Akram Messara, estimated the number of those who will view these activities at 200,000.
The festival is managed by a non-governmental corporation without any governmental support.
