Libyan - Tanzanian joint committee to be established

An agreement was signed in Tripoli on Tuesday providing for the establishment of a Joint Libyan - Tanzanian committee. The agreement aims at developing cooperation between the two countries in the areas of agriculture, tourism, education, culture and minerals.
On the Libyan side the agreement was signed by the assistant secretary general for African affairs at the Libyan foreign relations committee, Ali Abdul Salam al-Tureki, and the Tanzanian side was represented by the minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, who is accompanying the Tanzanian president on his current visit to Libya.
