Nine Arab states call for postponing FMs meeting

The Arab states which are in the African continent have asked Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid to postpone the meeting of the AL council due to be held on September 8 - 9 at the level of foreign ministers to a new date, because the meeting coincides with the special meetings of the African summit which Tripoli will host on September from 6 - 9.

Diplomatic sources at the AL told the London-based al-Hayat daily that the foreign ministers of the Arab - African states proposed to convene the AL council meeting on September 12 and 13.
