Emir of Bahrain arrives in Damascus today

At the invitation of President Hafez al-Assad, Bahraini Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa will arrive in Damascus today for an official visit to Syria. During the visit Sheikh Hamad will hold talks with President Hafez al-Assad on bilateral relations between Syria and Bahrain and situations in the Arab and regional arenas.
The Emir of Bahrain will be accompanied by an official delegation, including Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad Bin Mubarak al-Khaleifa, Minister of Interior Sheikh Muhammad Bin Khaleifa al-Khaleifa and Minister of Information and Cabinet Affairs Muhammad Ibrahim al-Mutawaa.
