Tanzanian President arrives in Libya

Tanzanian President Benjamin William Makaba has described Tanzanian - Libyan relations as excellent. He added that relations between the two countries have been consolidated as a result of efforts to support cooperation and trade and economic exchange between the two countries. In an arrival statement at Tripoli airport on Sunday in a visit to Libya, Makaba said he will hold talks with Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi on developments of conditions in the African areas of conflict, especially in the Congo, as well as on preparations for the extraordinary African session due to be held in Libya in September.
