Palestine demands implementing Why River accord

The Palestinian government asked the new Israeli government to implement all items of the Wye River accord that calls for implementing immediate withdrawal from 18.1% of the Palestinian lands and releasing detainees from Israeli prisons to open the door for the final status negotiations.
In a statement issued after its weekly meeting yesterday in Ramallah under the chairmanship of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat the Palestinia leadership described Arafat's meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak at Erez barrier last Sunday as positive and important.
