Moussa returns to Cairo from Helsinki

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa arrived today in Cairo, coming back from Helsinki after a two-day visit to Finland, during which he met with President Martti Ahtisaari and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, who was also visiting Finland.

After he arrived in Cairo, Moussa said his talks in Helsinki tackled the peace process in the Middle East, the Arab - European partnership, the Barcelona process and bilateral relations between Egypt and Finland.

He described the talks as good, adding that Ahtisaari will visit the Middle East soon as chairman of the current session for the European Union and that his foreign minister will also visit the area as head of the European cabinet in the effort to push forward the peace process in the area.
