Morocco attends world conference on the peaceful use of outer space

Morocco will take part in the 3rd world conference on the peaceful use of outer space (UNISPACE III) due in Vienna, Austria on July 19-31. The conference aims at promoting effective means of using space technology to solve the problems hampering the development of third world countries. It also seeks to use the applications of space research for economic, social and cultural development.
The conference's agenda includes debates on how to provide developing countries with safe space technologies to sustain their development process.
