Morocco minister: Arab states need Air and Sea Transports cooperation, common railway network and driving license

Moroccan Transports minister, Mustafa Mansouri, urged the Arab states to foster complementarity in matters of air and sea transports to counter the global challenges facing the sector.

In a statement carried Thursday by Egyptian al-Ahrar paper, the Moroccan minister called for the creation of a powerful alliance between Arab airliners and maritime companies capable of defending the interests of Arab states at a time major world air and sea companies are merging and forming giant groups to dominate the world transport market.

The Moroccan minister also hoped that Arab states will set up a common railway network and have a common driving license.
