Establishing a private airline company in Taba

The executive steps for establishing a private airline company to attract tourism to Taba have started.
Nabeel Abd El-Latif, chairman of Rivera - Sinai Investors' Association, said that the aim of this company is to attract European tourism to the Taba and Nowaiba areas to compete with Sharm El-Sheik, which has a special airport and regular internal and external trips.
Abd El-Latif said that there is one trip organized by the Egypt Air company which is not enough to meet the increasing demand in this area in light of the bad condition of land roads to Taba and Nowaiba and that the association's investments reach 4 billion pounds, distributed among 70 hotels, villages and tourist resorts, including four hotels on which work has already started'.
