Gaddafi to visit Tunisia after Algeria
Tunisia-Libya, Politics, 7/16/1999
Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi arrived in Tunisia on Thursday from Algeria, where he took part in the 35th summit of the Organization of African Unity. An official source in Tunis said Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali received Gaddafi and discussed with him bilateral relations and means of developing them as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Bin Ali received Gaddafi at Tunis' airport and exchanged with him feelings of "fraternity and friendship." Tunisia and Libya are maintaining the best relations as members in the Arab Maghreb Union, which also includes Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania.
