Festival for American shopping begins in Alexandria

The American shopping festival is starting today in Alexandria for the first time in Egypt and will last for a week.
The governor of Alexandria, Abd El-Salam Mahgoub, and the U.S. ambassador to Egypt, Daniel Kurtzer, will open the fair which includes 15 American food products like juices, jams, tomato paste and biscuit.
A press statement issued by the U.S embassy in Cairo said this festival is a mere start for lots of weeks and commercial festivals in the near future to market American products in Cairo.
