Chairman of Mauritanian committee for resisting normalization with Israel arrested

The Mauritanian authorities arrested yesterday afternoon Hogail Walad Mansour, chairman of the Mauritania committee for resisting normalization with Israel, without giving any reasons for his arrest.
The chairman of the committee, which includes representatives of four opposing parties and labor unions, said on July 13 in a press conference he held on the arrival of an Israeli medical mission in Mauritania a campaign for resisting normalization that started with imported foodstuffs from Israel.
