Talal Bin Muhammad in Beirut in preparation for King Abdullah's visit

Prince Talal Bin Muhammad, cousin of Jordanian King Abdullah and the king's advisor for national security, accompanied by his wife, Princess Gheida Talal, who is the chairperson of the international media office in the Jordanian royal court, arrived in Beirut on Wednesday night from Paris in the framework of a private visit to Lebanon that will last for several days in preparation for the visit of the Jordanian king to Beirut.

Prince Talal is scheduled to meet with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss.

At the airport, the Jordanian prince was welcomed by the Jordanian ambassador to Lebanon, Anmar al-Hamoud, and officials concerned at the Lebanese Foreign Ministry, the Lebanese daily al-Nahar reported.
