Citibank expands banking services in Egypt

U.S. Citibank's Egyptian branch is starting next week presenting personal banking services for its clients in Cairo, through services such as deposits, transfers, and issuing credit can be presented.

K. B. Janard Han, general manager for client administration at Citibank, told ArabicNews.com that this step is important in the bank's expansion in presenting banking services in the Egyptian market and increasing its investment in presenting banking services in Egypt after an absence in this market for more than 10 years.

He added that the bank is planning to issue more than one million credit cards for individuals, with no need to open an account with the bank to present a deposit to insure this card.
