On the meeting between King Abdullah and Barak

Israel Radio said on Tuesday that Jordan's King Abdullah bin Hussein and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak during their meeting due on Tuesday in Aqaba discussed the results of talks the Jordanian chief of the royal court, Abdul Kareem al-Kabareiti, held in Damascus with high-ranking Syrian officials. The radio noted rapprochement that took place recently between Amman and Damascus, adding that Barak is concerned that such rapprochement will not be at the expense of Jordanian - Israeli relations.
