Olmert boycotts French reception

The mayor of occupied Jerusalem, Ehud Olmert, and high-ranking officials in the municipality of Jerusalem announced that they will boycott the reception due to be held by the French general consul in Israel on the occasion of the French national day which falls today in protest against holding separate parties for the Jews and the Arabs. The municipality of Jerusalem said in a statement released on Tuesday that the French consulate follows up a policy which does not comply with its obligation to establish relations with all citizens, regardless of their national and religious affiliation, Israel Radio reported.
