Three people killed in road accident

Three people were killed in a road accident near the city of El-Jadida, 190 km south of Rabat. A fourth person was seriously injured in the collision of two cars.
Road accidents are a real plague in Morocco, killing 3,242 people in 1998. To play down the plague, the Moroccan authorities are staging a three month campaign dubbed "Iron Fist" providing for severe sanctions against traffic code offenders.
