Mauritania's people oppose normalization with Israel

Mauritanian official sources expected that the Israeli medical mission currently visiting Nouakchott faces great hardships due to the anti-Israeli public campaign.

The sources added that the Mauritanian people refuse Israeli entry into country.

The visit was previously canceled due to the security circumstances and the increasing pressures on the manager of the Mauritanian medical center. He was asked to withdraw the invitation to the mission, which specializes in eye diseases.

Israeli medical missions visited Mauritania in March, where one member was slapped by a Mauritania doctor.
