Leaders of Sudanese opposition resume meetings today in Cairo

The leaders of the Sudanese opposition factions are resuming their meetings today at the invitation of Mohammed Othman El-Mergani, head of the Democratic National Alliance, to resume discussions that were started on Saturday, aiming at finding a political solution for the Sudanese crisis.
El-Sadek El-Mahdi, the former Sudanese prime minister and head of the Ummah Party, said in press statements that the leaders of the alliance will reach an agreement regarding the visit of the alliance's leadership and that the visit is considered a step in coordination between the Libyan and Egyptian efforts aiming at solving the Sudanese problem.
