Return of festival for Alexandrias of the world

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism decided to reorganize the festival "Alexandrias of the World," in which cities that carry the name of Alexandria all over the world participate, after a halt of seven years due to financial and administrative problems.
Egyptian Minister of Tourism Mamdouh El-Beltagi told ArabicNews.com today that the festival will be held in autumn 2000 to take a place among the main international events attracting tourism to Egypt, especially as Alexandria has a worldwide reputation.
Minister El-Beltagi added that good marketing and early preparation for this event will make this one of the most important events at the beginning of the third millennium.
