Crown prince presides over closing of National Youth Congress

Moroccan Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed chaired on Saturday the closing ceremony of the first National Youth Congress, held in the sea resort station of Bouznika, 40 km south of the capital city, Rabat.

The crown prince visited the various stands and pavilions of the congress and was briefed on the creative works of the Moroccan youth, participating in the event.

The crown prince also heard explanations of the election of the youth delegation that will represent Morocco in the International Youth Congress, to be held next October 25-29 in Hawaii.

Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed offered presents to Morocco's representatives to the Hawaii event.

Two teens, a male and a female, were chosen among 180,000 youths aged between 15 and 18.

Some 250 people participated in the first National Youth Congress, meant to lay down the bridges of a national dialogue among the country's youths on issues pertaining to the challenges of the third millennium.
