Morocco, Politics, 7/12/1999
Morocco invested in 1998 over $113 million in drinking water projects in various regions of the Kingdom.
A communique released recently by the Moroccan drinking water authority, "Office National de L'eau Potable," says the investment generated 1.2 million work days and helped to bolster the country's water production, extend the network's distribution and improve the management of distribution.
The office also upgraded Morocco's drinking water storage capacity and supplied several remote villages with drinking water.
