Arab members in the Israeli Knesset confer with Jordanian ambassador to Israel

Members of the Israeli Knesset from the United Arab List met on Sunday with the Jordanian ambassador to Israel, Omar al-Refa. In an interview with Israel Radio, United Arab List Knesset member Muhamad Kanan stated that they asked the Jordanian ambassador to convey a message to the Jordanian king on the eve of his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, stressing the backing of the list's members for the Israeli premier in the new inclinations he had already announced in order to give the Middle East peace process a push forward.
