Sudan to return Egyptian properties, meets with opposition

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael asserted in press statements his country's commitment to giving back the confiscated Egyptian properties in Sudan and to cooperation between security bodies in the two countries in combating terrorism.
Meanwhile, the former Sudanese prime minister and chief of the opposition Ummah Party, El-Sadek El-Mahdi, said yesterday that he will convene a second meeting with the speaker of the Sudanese National Council, Hassan Turabi, on July 17 in Geneva to resume talks on achieving national reconciliation in Sudan.
