Prince Talal gives 5 million pounds to Egyptian bank for the poor

Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, the head of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, presented 5 million Egyptian pounds as his contribution to the project of Egyptian Bank of Hope in which a group of Egyptian businessmen participate, like Nguib Sawaris, Taki Allah Helmi, Taiseer El-Harari and Abd El-Aziz Hegazi, the former Egyptian prime minister.
The Bank of Hope aims at presenting small loans to people of limited income.
The bank's capital reaches 50 million pounds.
Prince Talal suggested the idea, and he is the first participant to pay his share in this bank's capital.
Prince Talal leads and helps several charitable and nonprofit organizations, and has been the promoter of pioneering ideas on social and educational issues in the Arab states.
