FAO says no locust spotted in Morocco in June

The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization "FAO" said it does not expect any major development in the situation of migrant locusts in Morocco, as no locust was spotted in Morocco in June.
In its latest newsletter on the situation of locusts in the world, the FAO said no infestation was reported last month and rains are only reaching the summer reproduction areas.
According to the UN specialized agency, small swarms of locusts in the summer reproduction areas in the sub-Sahara and Sudan as well as along the Indian-Pakistani borders were spotted.
