UN team heads to Baghdad to close chemical lab

A team of international disarmament experts is heading to Baghdad next week to close one of the laboratories affiliated to the United Nations in Iraq regarding, which it said it contains dangerous materials.
At the same time, Iran urged Turkey to withdraw its troops from Iraq and to respect its territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, the Iranian news agency quoted the spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministery as saying Iran objects to any violation of the territorial integrity of other countries and called for a Turkish withdrawal from Iraq. Turkey launched an attack in the Iraqi north last Saturday, claiming it is pursuing Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) members.
Iraq threatened yesterday to retaliate for the Turkish violations in northern Iraq and called for an immediate Turkish withdrawal.
