Egyptian - Danish agricultural agreement
Egypt-Denmark, Agriculture, 7/8/1999
Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Yousef Wali hailed the positive results of agricultural cooperation between Egypt and Denmark, especially in field of improving agricultural products and following up on these products' quality. He also praised the two countries' participation in establishing the central laboratory for food affiliated to the agricultural research center in 1981.
Wali made his statements as he and and Irling Nelson, Denmark's ambassador in Cairo, reached an agreement for developing the laboratory by joining new sections to it containing the most modern equipment used in analyzing foodstuffs, at a cost of 2 million pounds.
