Algerian party assures its support for national unity government

The head of Algeria's Rally for Culture and Democracy Party, Said Saadi, expressed his support for establishing a national unity government comprising all democratic parties to contain the current crisis. He also said he does not know the intentions of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika regarding formation of the coming government. Saadi praised Bouteflika's call for national reconciliation and the president's pardon for thousands of prisoners on the occasion of Algeria's national feast.
