Iraqi - Egyptian discussions for increasing the commercial exchange

Commercial discussions took place yesterday between Iraqi Minister of Trade Mohammed Madhi Saleh and an Egyptian delegation under the chairmanship of Abd El-Shahawi, head of the holding company for food industries.
The discussions aim at forwarding commercial relations between the two states in framework of the oil-for-food and medicine program.
Awni Hashim, manager of the Egyptian Trade Center in Baghdad, said that the Egyptian delegation, which includes the heads of six companies, will hold consultations with Iraqi officials regarding the contracts related to the sixth stage of the oil-for-food program, adding that Egypt's exports to Iraq reached $300 million last year.
