A message from the Sudanese president to UAE counterpart
Sudan-United Arab Emirates, Politics, 7/7/1999

United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan on Tuesday received a message from Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries and means of developing and strengthening them.

The Gulf News Agency said that Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael, currently visiting the UAE, handed over the message during his meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Zayed al-Nahyan, who is also the head of the UAE armed forces, on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi.

The two officials discussed bilateral relations between the two states and means of developing them as well as issues of mutual concern. Viewpoints were identical regarding current Arab developments in light of developments on the Arab arena.
