Libyan-Moroccan talks on upcoming joint commission

Secretary general of the Libyan People's Committee of trade and mining, Meftah Ali Azzouza, met in Rabat on Monday with Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa and minister of the government's general affairs, Ahmed Lahlimi.

Moroccan-Libyan talks covered preparations for the upcoming meeting of the joint commission.

The Libyan official is visiting Morocco to attend proceedings of the Moroccan-Libyan sub-commission on industry and trade exchanges.

In a statement to MAP, Azzouza hailed Morocco's support to Libya and said he reviewed with the head of the Moroccan diplomacy Morocco's efforts to reach a solution to the Lockerbie affair which opposes Libya to three western countries.
