Arab businesswomen's conference opens in Morocco

The eastern Moroccan city of Oujda is hosting an economic forum of Arab businesswomen that opened this Tuesday.

The three-day conference will debate several issues, including a project to set up a council of Arab businesswomen. The agenda also includes discussions on the role of women in activating Arab relations and the search of new mechanisms to consolidate cooperation between businesswomen associations.

According to the head of the Egyptian delegation to the conference, Yamna Ach-Charidi, the Egyptian and Moroccan businesswomen associations will sign a cooperation agreement to exchange expertise and create joint projects.
